Video Card Support for Diablo 3

The video cards listed below are for PCs. Video card support for Mac may vary with OS X release builds.

Drivers

Diablo 3 requires up-to-date video card drivers. Make sure that you have the most recent drivers installed.

Laptop manufacturers may create custom versions of video drivers for their branded laptops.  We recommend checking with your laptop's manufacturer before installing drivers from a different source.

SLI and Crossfire (Multiple Graphics Cards)

Diablo 3 does not support either SLI or Crossfire configurations.  Playing Diablo 3 with either configuration enabled can result in serious performance issues, or the game not playing at all.

Workstation Cards

Although many professional workstation cards (Quadro series, Fire GL series) are listed as supported, performance levels can vary far more than with a regular video card. Workstation cards are not designed for gaming.

Performance is an estimate

The performance estimates in the tables below are based on your computer running optimally. Other issues unrelated to your video card can impact system performance. If it seems that Diablo 3 is performing at a lower level than the estimate for your video card, your computer may have other issues (malware, fragmented hard drive, overheating, etc.) that need to be addressed.
